Children are grouped with others of a similar age. This can vary by venue, depending on the number of children attending camp. Children are grouped by date of birth (not school year) with a couple of years between them (e.g. 9 – 11 year olds). Due to group sizes and ratios, this can sometimes be a greater age mix.
