Held at selected venues across the UK during the summer holidays, these specialist sessions provide an introduction to the game for 5 to 10 year olds, focusing upon the core areas of cricket – throwing, bowling, batting, fielding and catching – in a fun and innovative way. Running each day from 9.30am to 12.30pm, this progressive week-long programme introduces the techniques of the great cricketing nations from around the world.
Nicholas was a complete beginner at the beginning of the week, he’s now batting well and his catching is much improved. He now wants to play for England!
Mr Lewis, Chester
The coaching and activities reflect the culture, techniques and legends of selected countries, with the chance for children to practise their newly acquired skills each day with fun matches and games. Children make new friends and learn by taking part in innovative coaching activities including Bonza Bowling, Goldrush and Centipede Cricket.
The week ends with the International Cup Final, where children can show off their newly acquired skills. We encourage parents to come and cheer on their children and see each of them presented with their International Cricket Schools certificate detailing the skills they have learnt, and the progression they have made.
International Cricket Schools can be booked as an individual programme, or why not add it to a Kings Multi-Active week for just £20.
