Next week our Chief Executive, Richard Holmes, will be cycling across the Pyrenees as part of our Base Pack Challenge, raising money for our Kings Volunteer community around the world.

Richard will be leading a team of 12 cyclists on the Pyrenean Raid – an official 450 mile ride across the France Spain border, climbing 35,000 feet… and all in under 100 hours, including sleeping and eating! Although Richard has undertaken several fundraising bike rides before (including Lands End to John O’Groats, Nice to Naples, and the inaugural ‘Tour of Botswana’) this could be his most challenging cycle yet!

Please show your support by sponsoring Richard

Your donations will make a huge difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people, as well as motivating Richard to keep pedaling! You can make a donation online via Richard’s online donation page.

Through training, resources and encouragement Kings Volunteer currently benefits around 13,500 children and young people per week, but there are so many children growing up in the world’s toughest conditions who are still not able to enjoy their right to play. By sponsoring Richard you will enable our Kings Volunteer community to develop their work, and allow them to have an amazing impact on the lives of more disadvantaged children and young people around the world.
