Does sport and exercise improve learning?

healthybodyhealthymindSo, we’re really interested to hear about a new multi-million pound research project being carried out in the UK that will gain a better understanding of the relationship between physical exercise and learning.

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind!

The project, funded by the Wellcome Trust and the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), is exploring how the brain processes information (neuroscience) and will look at whether physical exercise improves academic achievements in 14-16 year olds.

At the very least, their time at Kings Camps helps children build social skills & self-confidence. Our team challenges, chants and group activities are not just enjoyable but help to build team cohesion and teach valuable life lessons such as communication and interpersonal skills.

So far from the much publicised summer learning loss, children attending one of our summer camps could be even more prepared for returning to school.
