Getting children active in the heart of Scotland!
Join us for kids camp at St Leonards School in St Andrews. A top independent school and a fabulous venue for a children’s activity camp. The school has an excellent range of sports facilities with outdoor areas.
A beautiful venue and safe environment
St Leonards is one of the UK’s leading independent schools. Set in the beautiful campus in the inspiring University town of St Andrews, they offer excellent education for boys and girls aged 5-18. Featuring Scotland’s only International Baccalaureate Sixth Form, St Leonards gives pupils an internationally recognised qualification for life.
In 1883 the school moved to the site which it still occupies today, an expansive piece of land within the town’s medieval priory walls. The campus is rich in history, having served as a place of education almost continuously since it was first used as St Leonards College for poor clerks in 1512.
St Leonards is widely held to have been the inspiration for Enid Blyton’s famous Malory Towers series of novels, which still exist on the site today.
A venue with extensive sports areas
The pupils regularly achieve regional and national selection in their chosen sports. Recently the students have been picked for regional and national sides in golf, hockey and lacrosse. Their success is partly down to St Leonards rich sporting heritage and superb facilities on-site, which include large grass playing fields, all weather pitches, squash courts, an indoor swimming pool and a gymnasium, all of which are utilised as part of our school holiday programme at the school.
