Kings Camps run summer camps and sport and activity day camps for thousands of children at over 40 top class venues throughout the UK during the Easter, summer and October school holidays, as well as specialist sports camps like International Soccer Schools and Michael Vaughan Cricket.
In order to deliver the UK's leading summer camps and activity day camps for children we have opportunities for over 600 top quality sports coaching staff every year. We need staff who enjoy the challenge and fun of delivering a great week of sport and activity to children of all ages and we employ staff in a range of positions from activity camp managers to football coaches and swimming coaches. We actively seek to reward staff by promoting from within our teams with many staff returning to work for us on our summer camps and activity day camps year after year.
Senior Staff
Kings Camps senior positions provide a fantastic opportunity for staff to co-ordinate activity programmes, manage staff teams and still get involved with the sports coaching and development of children on the activity camp. Kings Camps sports coaching roles allow sports coaches to gain valuable experience by delivering excellent sports sessions to the children on the activity camps, in a fun and exciting environment. We provide the opportunity to gain knowledge of a wide range of sports and activities and through our professional development scheme sports coaches will learn and benefit from the expertise of other members of the team, while enjoying the fun and exciting environment of a children's summer camp or activity day camp. Kings Camps is a great starting point for anyone with an interest in sports coaching and there are plenty of opportunities to progress to more senior positions.
Specialist Sports Coaching
Kings Camps specialist sports coaching roles allow anyone with a more in-depth knowledge in a sport or activity to gain experience in coaching children, whilst benefiting from a fun summer camp environment and King's professional development scheme. The specialist sports coaching role enables the coach to lead an activity-tailored programme, providing the challenge of more focussed and specific coaching. We have sports coaching positions available on our specialist King's Camps sports camps: International Soccer Schools and Michael Vaughan Cricket. Alternatively there are opportunities to deliver swimming and other specialisms on our multi-activity day camps.
