Our Ethos

Perhaps your child is a future gold medal winner, or perhaps it's the taking part that counts, whatever their aim in sport, King's Camps is committed to helping them reach their potential.

We know that for some children sport can be intimidating, whilst for other children sport is where they are most confident and happy. It is our priority to ensure that every child is made to feel unique and valued. King's Camps helps children gain self-confidence and social skills through age sensitive programmes that encourage and inspire.

It's also great to know that simply by having fun at our camps, your children are easily achieving the government's aim for school children of two hours exercise per week. We also promote healthy living on camps by encouraging to bring healthy packed lunches and running National Healthy Lifestyle days.

Brothers, Sisters and Friends

Requests for a maximum of four children to be together can be made in advance of the camp to our Membership Services Team at the point of booking. We endeavour to honour requests, however because of strict group sizes and group dynamics, we are unable to guarantee this and we are unable to respond to any such requests on the first morning of the camp.

Child Details

There must be a completed Camp Attendance Form for every child on the camp. These forms will be sent to you as part of your membership welcome pack. Parent/Carers should bring these along on the first morning of camp. If a child arrives without a form or if it is not complete then the Parent/Carer will be asked to complete one before they leave.

Helping working parents

Xtra Time is our extended programme created specially for busy parents. It includes the cost of your camp plus our extended hours scheme 'Xtra Time' providing care from 8.15am to 5.45pm (check your venue details for exact times). With lots of arts, crafts and games, Xtra Time is an ideal way to start and end the day.

If your child is very young, or a little unsure, there are a few Mini Camp places available each week during Summer. Mini Camps run from Monday to Wednesday.

Also, if you'd like to help your friends and family book on our camps, then you can earn vouchers and save money through our bonus scheme. We're often looking for new Family & Friends Consultants so why not find if we need any in your area by calling our booking line.

Assisted Places

We are always looking for ways to ensure our camps are inclusive and our Assisted Places Scheme is one way increasing accessibility to King's Camps. Parent and carers whose financial circumstances make it difficuly for their child to attend camps may be eligible for an assisted place. Please call our booking line for more information.
