A welcoming community

Children are our business and we welcome them to the King’s family. They meet new friends their own age, they interact positively with older children and our staff are there to ensure their days are happy. Competitions, chants, challenges and theme days mean a Kids Camp week is the most fun, action packed week of the holidays! We accept children as young as 4yrs 6months, if they are in full-time compulsory education.

No worries for newcomers to Kids Camp!

Experiencing new sports and activities is made easy by our friendly and professional coaches. Our age-tailored coaching sessions create lots of opportunity for children to try out new skills and develop at their own pace. No one stands on the side lines with us, it’s all about having a go, and giving it your best shot!

Skills for life

For our youngest members learning through play is the name of the game. Our bright and tactile equipment specially designed for little hands, enables children to learn core skills that last for life. Through exciting games and stories children develop awareness, motor skills and hand-eye coordination. With the basics in place, the sky’s the limit!

Make the biggest splash ever in our fantastic new swimming programme

Have an awesome time with our pure fun sessions and improve your technique by working towards awards. Develop water confidence skills with water polo, snorkelling, life-saving and aqua aerobics.

Grow in confidence, grow in ability

The range of activities on offer on Kids Camp bring out the best in everyone. Your child will learn how to work together with others through team sports like netball or benchball; achieve individually in athletics or tennis; or discover a creative side with our arts, crafts and drama programme.

We are delighted with the Children's Club on the QM2 and has been a major success story both in terms of the staff and programme. I think it is fair to say everyone at King’s has done an outstanding job in making this work so well

Highly qualified staff teams

Our staff teams are qualified, highly skilled and motivated to provide peace of mind and the very best camps. Our managers are qualified PE teachers with at least 2 years teaching experience, our coaches have national governing body qualifications in various sports, our swimming teachers are qualified with life-guard certification.

The healthy way to play

Kids Camp is the healthy option. Exercise should be fun and a healthy lifestyle must be enjoyable if it’s to last. At Kids Camp, children learn about how their bodies change during exercise, the benefits of a balanced diet and how to adopt an enjoyable, healthy lifestyle.

King's Camps are run by the King's Foundation, a non-profit children's educational charity. The Foundation is developing a network of sports and activity camps for children who are victims of war and the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Botswana and Uganda.
Xtra Time is for busy and working parents and it extends the day from 8.15am to 5.45pm. With a fantastic programme of arts, crafts and games, Xtra Time provides the perfect way to start and end the day.
We accept many types of childcare vouchers from employers.
Also, parents or carers whose financial circumstances may prevent their child from attending may be eligible for assisted places.
Please contact the membership services for more information.
King’s Camps have successfully gained the RoSPA Gold Award – another sign of our commitment to providing families with complete peace of mind.
Not only do we have gold standard certification, but we’re Ofsted registered and a member of BAHA (The British Activity Holiday Association). Our camps are inspected to ensure they meet the very highest safety standards.
