About King's Camps
We’re great for parents, even better for kids!
We’ve been providing children’s sport and activity camps throughout the world for over 20 years and we’re proud to have given over half a million children enjoyable and memorable holidays. By 2020 we aim to have helped over 2 million children and young adults worldwide.
School holidays should be a memorable time for kids; a chance to kick back, relax and have some fun. That’s why we work each year to provide the best activity camps and summer camps for children throughout the UK. Our Easter holiday camps, summer camps and half-term activity camps bring together all the best elements of a holiday club, sports camp and activity holiday into a week of fun and adventure for children of all ages.
Our activity camps and summer camps are delivered by qualified and experienced sports coaches that love to work with children. Our activity camp venues are leading schools and universities with excellent sports facilities and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play.
Giving you peace of mind
We’re committed to providing parents and families with complete peace of mind while giving children a great summer camp experience. Our activity camps have exemplary health and safety records, are registered with OFSTED and Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales and we’ve achieved the RoSPA Gold Award for the last 6 years. All our sports coaches have enhanced CRB disclosures and undergo online or specialist training and our site managers are experienced teachers or sports coaches.
Our aim is to inspire and motivate children so that sport is enjoyable and rewarding whatever their ability and we work hard to ensure that every child that attends one of our activity camps progresses, whether that be developing confidence and independence, learning new skills or understanding the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
As a UK children’s charity, we’re dedicated to providing high quality summer camps and activity day camps that will have a positive impact on children from all walks of life, offering thousands of children the chance to develop and have fun in a healthy, positive and safe environment every year.
We’re a UK children’s charity
King's Camps is part of the King's Foundation, a registered UK charity (1105460) dedicated to developing children and young people through sport. We’re passionate about child development and as well as organising King’s Camps – the largest network of children’s summer camps and activity day camps in the UK and Africa, we work with children and young people in greatest need in both the UK and in the developing world.
Since 2002, we’ve been working in some of the most disadvantaged communities in Botswana, Uganda, South Africa and the UK. Our sports outreach programmes have enabled us to work directly with thousands of children, giving them the emotional, physical, educational and spiritual benefits that sports activities bring. Over a number of years we have seen thousands of children and young people develop and grow and have seen the positive impact we’ve had on their lives.
We are about people. We aim to serve people that trust us with their children, provide children with an inspirational experience, provide high quality, enjoyable and progressive employment opportunities for staff and volunteers and enjoy mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers. We get one go at life, so we aim to make a difference and make the journey as enjoyable as possible.

We believe that every child is created for a purpose and that an active life is essential for a child’s development and well-being. The approach we take towards people demonstrates a bias for inclusion regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, social or economic circumstances. Specifically King’s Camps:
- Provide sports, activity and life-skills programmes for children.
- Provide young people with training, work experience and employment.
- Help partner organisations and community leaders to deliver life-changing experiences for children.
- Help families by inspiring their children to reach their potential.
